hate the cheapness and hidden corners cut in the construction.
here's what the heel counter for most reebok shoes looks like inside. the plastic they use is pretty flexible but they bend it in so that it hits your heel and the edge is sharp so it cuts through the liner over time. very poor design, and for no reason, i don't see how its any cheaper to mold the counter this way but they do.
picrel what most rebooks look like inside. this is a pair of classics but most of them are the same. yes i let that pair go way too long they were my landscaping beaters. but you feel that plastic digging into your heel long before the liner is torn through. there's no padding covering it.
