I blind bought this 5 or 6 years ago. It’s like vanilla tonka bean or something, almost like cheap Victoria’s Secret body mist. I did not like it. I used to use it as bathroom spray for when I take a fat dookie to make the room smell like vanilla poopoo instead of just regular poopoo, but now I think I have it in my locker at my unit for army reserve because I was going to give it to whoever wanted it. I don’t remember if nobody wanted it or I just forgot to even ask if anybody wanted it.

Noselet here, tested pic related today and was looking to grab some input from the general.

Parfumo calls it “smoky fruity”, which I don’t particularly get from it at all (smoke or fruit) but I noticed it’s got several tea notes listed, and I’m wondering if this would be a half decent example of a tea frag, as I’ve seen people request tea suggestions in here, but never sniffed one myself.

It’s not bad imo, but it’s a bit powdery for my tastes I think. Gonna continue testing tomorrow.

Make sure it's the parfum version of Fahrenheit, in the stouter bottle. It's sweeter and more "modern" than the OG EDT, with some boozy and vanilla notes added. The EDT might not be to your taste, as it's much less sweet and much more old school.
"Synthetic" is a very subjective descriptor. The fragrances you like also contain large doses of various synthetics. The ones you dislike are probably the aquatic ones like calone and whatever they happened to put in London. I do agree that Burberry London has weak performance though.

they don't smell exactly the same or anything, but personally I would say they are a bit redundant. I try to keep my collection small and be really selective about what I buy. biggest difference is probably all the cypress, it definitely adds a woody edge
EdB is like spicebomb extreme's older brother who doesn't party as much, dresses nicer and goes to church
the performance is average. it should last you a couple of hours but don't expect it to go on and on for two days like Dior Homme Parfum does. it also doesn't evolve as much as that fragrance, which I think is why some might get bored of it. I think for me it works better as part of a rotation than as an everyday scent.
I'll say that it does smell high quality, I think l'occitan fragrances tend to be good at smelling natural, maybe because the brand started as a manufacturer of natural oils and they still probably use them in decent quantities in their fragrances

they are very different. honestly the Parfum is so far removed that I see it as its own scent, not a flanker
EDT is much more refreshing, like a classy old money summer scent. tart citrus, jasmine, green aromatics, all that stuff. unfortunately the performance is weak, at least in the modern bottles. but it was never a beast AFAIK

EDP is much thicker and sweeter, not refreshing at all. I'm pretty sure there's some vanilin in there, though it's not listed. the citrus takes on a dusty lemon candy quality that reminds me of Habit Rouge to some degree. the vetiver is also upped and the elemi too is unlike anything in the original EDT. I don't really like the Parfum that much. Performance is leagues above the EDT though, very solid

few cheapies just came in bros
1 hour in Khamrah is extremely sweet but I like it, I feel like there's the possibility it will offend people because it smells like someone poured some liqueur on you but if not they will definitely ask what it is. Not feminine at all idk why that is commonly mentioned.
Encre Noire is exactly what I thought it would be, it's what I'd expect the dark souls mc to smell like mixed with old library books and it's great.
9am is kind of underwhelming, as expected given its a hyped dupe and I wouldn't wear anything like jpg ultra male anyway, I also think I must've gotten a shitty batch because the projection is awful. It's a bit fruity other than that extremely generic, I can't pick up any of the vanilla but that might be because the Khamrah's vanilla is so much richer.
That being said they all smell like they have high quality ingredients, Khamrah arguably being a bit tacky depending on your taste.

There are no metallic or natural bonfire-related notes in there. Encre noire is how Frampt would smell. Stop hyping up a disgusting overrated garbage of a frag. And if you don't understand what's disgusting about it, give it some time and a few wears.

if you like the classic, old school freshies like Cerruti 1881, Acqua di Parma, 4711, Eau de Rochas or some of the fresher chypres like Chanel Pour Monsieur, then Eau Sauvage EDT is a must-try I think. in general it's a classic and very influential fragrance that's good to know if you want to be a trve fragrance fan
the Parfum I would say is not essential in any way, though it does stand out from other modern designers and has very good performance

You know, people always ask me about fragrances. I’ve smelled many, many fragrances. I’ve had the best fragrances. Eau Sauvage, which was introduced in 1966 - that’s a long time ago, but it’s still fantastic. It’s classic. It’s got this fantastic lemon, a bit of bergamot… very sophisticated. Everybody loves it. I’ve had people tell me how elegant it is.

But then, Dior – great brand by the way, really great – they came out with this other one, Sauvage, in 2015. Completely different! More modern. It’s got this thing called Ambroxan, very powerful. It’s bold, it’s strong. People wear it and they get noticed. It’s tremendous.

Most of 4chan is a Psyop these days, you used to be able to have legitimate discussion, but the site has become heavily saturated with Zoomers, and how Zoomers interact with basically anything is they try to force a really bad joke out of it or they ironically say give bad advice. The problem is most of the people who are on this site are literally incapable of having a legitimate discussion because dopamine marketing on the internet rotted their brain.

Terre d'Hermes was the first fragrance I picked myself as well, a few years ago. Even though I wouldn't say it's my favourite anymore, I don't regret it. I can now appreciate it as a clever modernization of an old school style with some nods to Roudnitska's work that also happens to be a pleasant, easy to wear spicy orange scent that your colleagues at work will enjoy. I guess this high brow + low brow appeal is why it's still so hyped online. Bottle is pretty too.

What is your favorite now? I’m still tempted to get a bottle of tdh, I opted for Guerlain homme Lea boisse because it was cheaper and still had that modernization of an old school style. Today I’m wearing guerlain Coriolan. It’s very interesting. Fresh, aromatic, and green. It has a dirtyness to it from its leather note that balances out the freshness. Makes me smell like a smelly french man. Wearing it in a blazer today.

Didn't L'eau Boisee get discontinued? In that case, you've definitely made the right call. I've considered that one too for a while, I prefer it over normal Guerlain Homme. Oddly enough I never got much of a Terre d'Hermes vibe from it even though many people seem to get that. I'd have to smell it again, but I remember it being much more light and refreshing.
I'm not sure what my current favourite is honestly. Dior Homme Parfum is my go-to for going out, for everyday Lalique Pour Homme (Lion) and Jaipur Homme are getting a lot of use. I guess my taste has gone towards the powdery, creamy, comfy scents, at least as far as what I crave most often. Although I do enjoy the occasional vetiver too.
