Other than that I had some 6-7 year old bottles and they were all fine. is it, though?
you're likely talking about coumarin. coumarin is not a known carcinogenic and there are no restrictions on it, other than the self-imposed restrictions by the ifra. those restrictions stem entirely from nothing, since it isn't even a known allergen, either.
in fact, the only thing coumarin actually is is toxic, but the ld50 is rather high. since that only affects children, who might accidentally consume it in large doses somehow, there are limits on it when it comes to food.
so it really is a nothingburger and the ifra has once again ruined their own frags by limiting it, entirely without reasons.

funniest part is that he tries to frame his negative opinion on designer frags as some kind of half-assed critique of capitalism and then goes on to suggest his viewers spend many hundreds of dollars on shitty overpriced frags (or watered down samples) that smell just as generic and last half as long because they're "way more cooler."
comically the comments are filled with suckers that happily purchased whatever he told them to. people like him are a hilarious example of pseudo-intellectual self improvement tourists that don't understand any of the depth or history behind whatever the particular subject. such as his regular recommendation of aesop skincare products despite them containing an absurd amount of alcohol and sulfates.

I was testing frags at the mall today and I got to talking with one of the sales associates, he seemed to actually have some experience with frags so I struck up a conversation. He said he used to be “addicted” to buying frags, owned 400+ at one point and smelled over 600. (I laughed because that’s like buying over half of all the frags you even smell) and he got into talking about how fragrances are basically legalized drugs. He compared it to how cigarette companies aren’t in the cigarette business, but the nicotine business. I elbowed my buddy and repeated that line from Breaking Bad lol. He said he only owns about 15 fragrances now, and I said which ones? He responded do you know Zaharoff? My buddies said they were creeped out by him, I thought it was a great interaction kek, I was this close to asking if he browsed here.

Just think about what you like about it and google X fragrances forum, then read through the posts on fragrantica and basenotes to try to find frags that sound interesting. Then open up the frag pages on fragrantica and look at the longevity and projection and see if its to your liking, then read reviews on parfumo, basenotes, and fragrantica. Then get a sample. Then if you like it you can try frags that are similar on the fragrantica list or try more fragrances from the brand. Most important woody fragrance created on the current fragrance market.
Photorealistic wood chips, invigorating and resinous like a fresh cut plank of wood.
Sprinkle some peppery and basil spices over it to get that sensual effect.
Not to last, it's cheap and brutally longlasting for a niche. And the cherry on the top, it's made of 97% of natural ingredients.
Ignore the haters that smell like generic grapefruit/apple/ambrox water.

Yes.
PdM basically it takes known DNA and elevates them to the maximum possible quality, but they are still generic perfumes. If you like Fierce DNA, the best of its kind is Percival, for example. If you like Ultra Male like perfumes, Layton its the best one.
It's a "frontier" brand between the commercial and the niche, it is not brave and interesting enough to be niche, but it does have better quality than commercial or designer perfumes. To be honest, some Amouage perfumes are also like that.

In most cases it is counterproductive by temperature change. The only perfumes that should be refrigerated are those that contain "live" ingredients such as oud, which change over time and temperature changes, in that case they must be at a certain temperature all the time. And I’m talking about expensive oud, not €200 oud. Keeping perfumes like the ones in the picture in a fridge is like having a fridge to keep cheap wines

What should I do if I try a bunch of fragrances but don't really love any of them? If you are feeling brave find some rose oud attar maybe with some deer musk too from some guy on etsy and buy a small bottle, i like scents by skanda but there are a few other guys on there that make the good stuff with real natural ingredients. Just use a tiny bit and wait at least 10 minutes before applying more, stuff is potent and lasts all day.
