it actually makes the boot less secure on foot, while also having two snares above your ankles

The ankle shaft is WAY too narrow, I’ve got very narrow and highly arched feet. If you keep putting them on they’re gonna warp, and it’s just generally uncomfortable to wear. So if you want to fix that, you gotta size up and then the toe box is too big and they chafe. They look good but they’re not comfortable boots. My $90 work boots are way more comfortable.
