I'm suggesting if anyones in the market for a Economical Quality watch consider either Seiko or Citizen.

I've got one of pic related and the photo does it no justice. Looked at about 50 Tissots recently and man oh man I've never been so underwealmed by a Swiss watch in my life.

Every other big brand seems to be very overpriced bar 1-2 small brands that most people don't know atm imo.

And my gosh the "service" of Tissots resellers in my experiance yikes just yikes its like walking into a Rolex AD but with lower quality time pieces.

Proof body builders are faggots. People in this thread don't need to lift. If you're into watches, you're presumably rich, and if you're rich you're presumably intelligent and if you're intelligent you're naturally at least an 8/10 on attractiveness because nature uses beauty to exteriorly signal desirable traits. You're an ugly deformed gremlin working your body and aging it to extremes to make up for the lack of looks, skills and brains. That's why people like you are scum jamming objects up your ass for an unnatural activity that is causing your body to forcibly expell shit. I hope the pressure causes an colon blow out and you die.

OK, so lets say they average 200 bucks. 200 times 6 is 1200.

You could get a very decent watch for 1200 dollars. Or, if you wanted to save up a little longer, you could get some downright good watches for under 3k.
The new Longines Hydroconquest GMT, for example, is not oversized, not absurdly thick, looks good, is a true GMT, and is only 2.7k.

This one is quite underrated so it's one of the cheaper ones you can get used. You can get them on ebay for about $900 from Japan which is usually very reliable. It's a different beast in person depending on the lighting. The bezel has a polished finish so in low light like a bar or under streetlights it looks very dynamic and fluid while in bright light it looks gray and flat. Don't forget, same with the TVA with all the text, whenever you see them online it's a zoomed in photo. In real life the font or the dot pattern blend more into the watch at a short distance.

The 5600 series and 5000 are the same shape, the only oddball is the 5610 series because they have a smaller size and poorer symmetry. The 5610 is a very popular model so you will always find mod parts for it but it pales in comparison to the models and options for the standard 5600/5000 shape. In my opinion you can beat the metal case of a 5000 series for modding. The resin cases are much easier to damage when changing straps and bezels.

It doesn't bother me at all. In macro pics the difference of heights seems huge, but irl it's barely noticeable. Plus, it's only bigger than one mm in watches with movements like the word timer, mine, the Zeitwerk and the chronos. With simpler calibers is thinner. Other brands have a protruding back too, as is just as imperceptible.

Except the quality is very, VERY GOOD. Pic not mine, but the perlage is clear and symmetrical, the côtes de Geneve are deep, the anglage is wide and constant, entirely black polished screws, rose engined dial, applied hard to sculpt numerals, sunburst polished hands, multiple facets case with different polishing technics, etc... It's glorious and I love it.

there's nothing wrong with having a few good affordable watches as opposed to one good expensive watch. With one expensive watch you're stuck with one style, color, etc, whereas with a few watches you can change things up depending on your mood that day or on your outfit. And if you are buying affordable watches chances are you probably can't afford a 2k+ watch and if you end up buying you'll just be afraid of damaging it/losing it/etc.
