Slightly smaller actually, even though the watch looks pretty big in a picture because of the display dimensions. Also, the strap on the LF-20W feels lighter and more comfortable in comparison.

The Tank LC currently uses the 1917MC. It's fine. 38 hours power reserve, hand winding, 2 hands, non-hacking, 3Hz. Decoration is so-so, but behind a solid caseback, that doesn't matter. (You're not really buying it for the movement, but it's not just some cheap Sellita movement.)
Unlike the JLC's movement, it's not a movement shaped to fit the case and some people may have an issue with that. (It's tonneau shaped so it can be used in other watches as well.)

I'm the opposite. I don't care about power reserve on hand-winding watches because I wind them up every morning.
My watch is on my dresser. I get out of the shower, get dressed, wind up my watch, put it on and I'm good to go.

Even if I know I'm probably not going to wear it that day, I can take 10 seconds to wind it up and know it will be fine the next time I want to put it on.

With an automatic, I never know how much power reserve is left; I don't know if I wore it for enough time over the course of the day, so I'd rather the auto's power reserve be longer.

At least for me, this is the case. I like a lot of Omegas, but I think they, or rather, the Swatch group, is a little shady. There's plenty of footage of Rolex's factories (and they're a notoriously secretive company) and JLC offers regular tours of their Le Sentier facilities.

Omega and the other Swatch brands, though, are really cagey about letting people see their factories. The only exception, funny enough, is Glashutte Original, probably because German-made and the Glashutte mark is much more stringently controlled, so GO is totally open about the company in Pforzheim that makes their dials, for example...

GO does not make every single part of their watch.
Their dials are made by a company in Pforzheim (another town in Germany) and their cases are made by a different German company.
GO makes the movements, then does finishing and final assembly in Glashutte. Enough of the watch is made in Germany to be able to say "Made in Germany" and the movement and final assembly are in Glashutte so they can put "Glashutte" on the dial.

If, for example, they used a Swiss-made movement, they could still potentially say "Made in Germany" but they could no longer put "Glashutte" on the dial.
