Are any watch companies lurking here?

Could someone make a watch in this exact color way but in 38mm and with a slim handwound movement? Thanks. I'm in love with this color but barely any watches use it.

bought a buncha reps to try and figure out which sports/dress combo i want to keep.
pretty much decided on the submariner and i would like the dress watch to be a calatrava, but unsure if 5296 is it. at 38mm, maybe just slightly too large for my tastes.
or should i go for just one watch? wearing suit&tie daily for work.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand this cartoon. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of Rolex' distribution model most of the jokes will go over a typical reader's head. There's also the AD sale manager's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike this cartoon truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in the main character's existential catchphrase "Omega it is then" which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Jeroom's genius wit unfolds itself on their computer screens. What fools.. how I pity them.

And yes, by the way, i DO have a Rolex tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid.

If you can't find 19mm you can squeeze 20mm in or just put 18mm and have a small barely perceptible gap, but it's worth getting the correct size if you can, it'll look just right then.

What a profoundly hideous way of thinking. That's kind of like never hitting on a girl because she could say no.

Every great man of strong convictions had been loudly right and wrong a lot. I always think about Isaac Newton who can be personally credited with inventing both the Math and Science as we know it and contributing to humanity immeasurably. He fought tooth and nail against the particular theory of light and tried to find the proof for the light bearing ether instead.

If people were afraid of being loudly wrong we would be living in caves since nobody dared to suggest trying lighting the fire.

GPS is cool but I don't understand people who would feel that justifies the price. They have put GPS in $400 watches. It's not a premium feature. The price is just the materials and the hand polishing.

Not very thick
It's made of "SUPER TITANIUM", so it's quite light and fairly thin, especially in the band

Somehow it’s both. I do like the idea of a more premium Explorer but wish they had just gone all out and made a solid gold one. Also I’m not sure about the gold bezel, looks a little odd but it’s probably a watch you need to try on in person.

>The thinner mainspring now reduces the torque delivered, which reduces balance amplitude. To now make up for that reduced torque, they did some very un-Rolex like things to the escapement. They made things thinner and more fragile. Smaller surface contact reduces friction, but concentrates the forces and wear that may occur. There's always a give and take in any design, and watch movements are no different in that regard.

According to watchmaker Al from Archer Watches on the WUS, they also made a bunch of stuff more fragile

The reason it looks bad is the fucked up proportions of a 40mm diameter watch with quite thin bezel and a massive white dial.
Just look how small the calendar windows are compared to the rest of watch, it's comical. It's a 36mm watch that's been enlarged to fit whatever size their market research people told them was popular with current market trends.
For all their marketing talk about being expert watchmakers they're still trend chasers willing to compromise proper design for whatever they perceive will sell the most.
You're not used to seeing it in a bracelet so you think that's the issue but with normal proportions it would be sporty enough to look good on a bracelet too.
