ugh well then you don't want something that is cemented on and not stitched, it can't be resoled and it can come apart at anytime without being able to be put back on.
It's also waterproof which means it will be like keeping your feet in a plastic bag inside your boot and it won't breathe.

I bought a pair of Turdsdays years ago when I knew less about boots but they've held up really, really well. I think I lucked out because I went with the combat bootish looking ones (explorers?) which happened to have a proper vibram commando sole and a storm welt. Worn them trekking up (shallow) streams and under waterfalls and not got wet.

They were in roughout so the leather has been fine for hiking and taking scuffs, even though it's a little thin. It's a shame I think they look a bit goofy now, too slim. But I can attest at least some of their boots are fairly well built if you don't mind mostly synthetic materials.

It depends what your standards are. I guess the baseline for everyone would be they can't have cemented soles and the upper should be some kind of decent top / full grain leather. In most cases a shank too.

Grant Stone is the cheapest big brand where I think you'll find full high quality organic materials, leather construction etc.

Red Wing has always been the standard for a lot of people and they have some very nice in house leather uppers, thick leather insoles with some misc synthetic parts.

Everything from Thursdays up will usually incorporate either a leather insole or midsole or both and some cork rather than foam etc.

Some lower end brands like Thorogood and Solovair have pretty much entirely synthethic sole construction. But they're still very well built and will last a very long time with proper care imo. And yes, Solovair (and Thursday) has dogshit finishing QC. Still decent boots.

full leather
uppers and lowers should not contain synthetics: its bad for the environment, its bad for you
construction wise you want a bare minimum of stitchdown (clarks desert boots) to prevent shit like pic related. GYW is the most common construction in the welted market but keep in mind there are low quality GYW like in thursdays where the ribbing (part that connects the insole to the welt) has completely sheared off leaving an unrepairable boot
look to cut in half pics/vids: there's nothing advertising can hide
be aware of advertisement: brands like thursdays spend more of their budget on advertising than the quality of their materials/constructions, you'll see elements of that ITT attacking other brands like calling them tranny heels without actually addressing the quality of the boots

the fast and easy anwser is carl murawski is just larping
in his videos he refuses to give a straight anwser on what he does for work exactly and the vague details he gives change every time
the fact that this blatant poser hasn't been laughed out of the "community" shows how braindead everyone involved in it is

in actuality he is a project engineer for an electrical contstruction company in connecticut (ducci electical contractors) doing industry, railway, traffic projects
he represents the company in the field on projects, does little power point presentations about the job for the client or anyone else interested, setting schedules, budgeting, estimates, ect., he has the least technical knowledge on the site, just enough to serve as middle management, he is little more than a coordinator between the guys designing the blueprints and the guys actually doing the construction
basicly the asshole that drives to the job site in an f150 with his hipster boots and $300 imported japanese flannel to immidiately hide in his mobile trailer office
the heaviest thing he lifted on the job is a clipboard
far from the rugged lumberjack he wants to present himself as
i'm not sure how involved with that company he is anymore since the youtube thing, which now seems to be his main job, because he even opened a separate media LLC in 2018 for his sprouting product shilling imperium
