Literally Aventus. Today hitting the gym and letting the mossy-musky dry on my skin to fill the hall.
I finally realising what's behind the magic behind Aventus. It's the musky ambergris drydown, not the fruity topnotes most clones try copy, but fail to replicate the musky-like a second skin, but also fresh drydown.
A fantastic Aventus clone need the high quality of musk in the drydown.

When I wear it no one has ever said it smells like eggs, but maybe buy a sample first to make sure it doesn't smell like that to you.

So I sprayed a spray of regular Gentleman EdP on the left and two sprays from the Boisee sample on the right and I can't really smell the Boisee sample in the air anymore, simply because regular Gentleman fucks it over. From the smell, Boisee certainly sits closer to the skin. Gonna rate longevity until tomorrow and see how much of it will be left in the morning.

Not sure how to describe it I'm not good with words, but I can confirm it's probably the easiest cop out of all of them and I'm wondering if I should get it straight up. Replying to myself. All i can find are some scattered comments online saying that eccentric 01 is iso gamma super which is a cappive molecule that belongs to iff, not sold to the public.
I found some random brand that sells a pure iso gamma super perfume that got it from iff so i guess if somone cared enough they could buy both and compare them.
Iso Gamma Super Ellis Brooklyn you cqn get 10ml bottles on ebay pretty cheap from discounters.
Also i saw a few claims that timbersilk is as close as you can get to molecule 01 with fragrance compounds that are available to the public.

Alright, so in the morning, I couldn't smell Boisee anymore, while the regular EdP was still there. As I went to bed after around 4 hours of testing, I can't say how long it really lasted, but it certainly has less performance than Gentleman EdP. The difference in projection was quite obvious the whole time, though. Boisee really stayed closer to the skin. I'd say that Boisee lasts around 6-7 hours based on how much of it was still there after 4 hours, but doesn't really project that much. Performance-wise, that might be acceptable, but Gentleman EdP mogs the shit out of it.

Damn, 30 sprays to the gym is a lot and wouldn't be bearable even for me. I usually wear 0 sprays and just carry the leftovers from my 40 morning sprays into the gym (but like 10 hours later). Most stuff then usually disappears halfway through my workout.

Flame is a weird name for it, honestly.

The biggest difference to the EdT is the top:
No apple or mint at all, replaced with a blend of citruses, with a strong tendency towards orange peel. Fragrantica says there’s rosemary and pepper as well, and I get very little pepper beyond a slight warmth, but the herbaceousness comes in strong. Relative to designer frags in 2023 it’s almost a little retro, although not really compared to actual retro scents or anything niche going for an old school vibe.

What I get is pretty close to regular Eros in the dry down, mostly creamy vanilla, along with cedar, sandalwood, etc. On fragrantica they claim there’s a little bit of oakmoss in there, but I can’t comment. I’m not an acute enough sniffer to detect a minor note amidst the general vibe of a scent, so I do what I can haha.

In general, it’s a warmer scent, but for something named “flame” the spice is very much not the dominant impression, at least compared to Fireball whiskey or a frag like Spicebomb. I will say that it might have the same problem as a lot of citrusy scents where some will think it smells like cleaning spray.

I like it a lot, personally. I can’t really comment on its appeal to women, but I don’t see why they’d dislike it.

Bentley fragrances are great, and also made by Lalique.
I would wear this perfume. You may not be used to "masculine" perfumes because you’ve smelled sweeter and fresher things that everyone wears because it’s fashionable and are mostly unisex and for teens.
If you like it, use it. stop thinking about others.
There are people out there smelling like shit and sweat in the public transport and nobody says anything.

Guys help me clear up a couple of things
Which Invictus is better? The Invictus or Invictus Platinum? For me Platinum smells too sweet and I perceive it as what you would get if you would mix Invictus with Ultramale (which I already have). I'm leaning towards classic Invictus...
Also what are some good Gym frags for someone in mid 20's? My gym has good air circulation and I'm also thinking of 1-2 sprays of Invictus here because it's aquatic and minty fresh and still noticable. I don't like AdG profondo for gym because it turns out too sour; same goes for citrusy frags such as Versace pour homme and Dior Homme cologne, etc. Sauvage might be too heavy at times and Eros is just a bit too sweet from vanillia (although it reminds me a bit of Invictus). Obviously this are popular fragrances, but most men in my country don't really wear fragrances, so any kind would make me stand out. If you had to, which frags/notes would you recommend for the gym?

No. That’s why there are testers on the shelves.

They are doing their job, and often they earn a commission per sale.
If you want them not to be like that you have to go to a real perfume store, people who work in department stores are usually people who have no idea of perfumes beyond Sauvage, Le Male, and Invictus.

If you wear 1-2 sprays of Invictus to the gym, I'll wear 40 sprays of Sauvage Elixir. So my recommendation would be something that can mog 40 sprays of Sauvage Elixir with only 1-2 sprays, otherwise nobody will ever smell how much you stand out, because I flood your gym and fuck everyone's nose, whether they like it or not. I don't want to smell your bubblegum trash mixed with sweat while working out and I will make sure I won't.
