Give me a QRD on how not to dress like an incel.

>> No.17649454

>>17649450

If you just want to not dress like an incel, just wear clean clothes and wash yourself. Get everything except basics hemmed or tailored for a unique fit. Match colors. Get a scentless deodorant (Dove makes a few) and a mid-tier cologne (YSL La Nuit de Homme is a good one, and I think thats how you say it but I am drinking) to wear every day.

>for a unique fit

For a fit tailored to your specific body, I should have specified

>> No.17649459

diff glasses shape
no keens or similar shoes
no graphic tees
no khakis or cargo shorts

buy button-down shirts and tops in colors that look good on YOU, not just colors you like
don't dress entirely for function nor entirely for novelty
get fit and practice basic skin care & hygiene
take care of your hair. no chudjak cuts
ACCESSORIZE AND EXPERIMENT

i can't tell you how to dress beyond this because i don't know you

The easiest thing to do, and the one thing I don't understand why so many people have a problem with is wearing contacts instead of eye glasses.

>> No.17649468

No: graphic tees, cargo pants/shorts, hoodies, sweatpants, pajamas, monochromatic outfits (all black, all grey, etc), being smelly, dirty clothes, polyester and other synthetics, basketball shorts, graphic socks
Do: polos, chinos, khakis, khaki shorts, Oxford cloth button downs, plain white tee, jeans that are mid to high rise, plain sweaters, flannels, nice white sneakers
It would help to know what you wear.

>jeans that are mid to high rise

Low rise is kind of low class, but I wouldnt really say it gives off incel vibes

You're probably right, but I assume OP is shooting for "looking good" rather than the low bar of "not looking like a NEET"

condition your hair and get a haircut
fix your posture
no jorts or cargo shorts

skip skinny pants

are you actively not trying to be an incel, or just don't want people to know you're one? your attitude and personality are more important than clothes. which aren't that important as long as you keep clean

what pants?

>> No.17649674

- Fitted, tailored clothes
- Stop wearing shorts between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Shorts year-round are for children. Put on your big-boy pants.
- same with cargo pants or Crocs unless you want people to mistake you for a lesbian Puerto Rican nursing home aide
- Shave off the facial hair; it is gross. If you must have it, keep it well-trimmed. If it reaches your neck it's game over.
- Nails and hair should be kept trimmed and clean. It's fine to have long hair, but see a barber at least once a month to get split ends and shit taken care of. Also, moisturizer. Use it, nigger. If you're prone to greasiness, some baby powder on your scalp (blend it in with a comb) and rice paper blotting squares for your skin will help.
- Don't slouch. It makes you look autistic.
- Socks should match pants. When in doubt, black. Statement socks are higher level and should only be attempted when you are intermediate or above at dressing yourself.

Finding a style icon helps. Watch movies made before 2000 and pick out a dude whose look you like. Then work one or two wardrobe pieces of that style into your own. Further clothing acquisitions can be coordinated with those to create looks that are personal for you.
