I just got that two days ago. "That shirt looks good on you!" Literally one of my least favorite shirts, it's a spread collar poplin dress shirt.

>Be me
>Watching some 60s/70s kino
>Start seeing ruffled shirts everywhere
>Intrigued
>I start asking around to see what my friends and family think
>All of the lads think it's awful
>My family concurs
>I don't care and buy one anyways
>Better to wear something garish with confidence than something conformable insecurely
>First day of wearing it, some woman walks up to me and complements my look
>Instantly flattered
>Have now sworn to keep the ruffled shirt as an eternal part of my wardrobe

Update: Just got home. It went really well. She's really cute and outgoing. She's actually going into the military, total tomboy. I bought her an expensive ticket for a local tour which she enjoyed, stuff she wanted from the mall, and I offered to pay for dinner but she declined. We went on a walk after and we enjoyed my car for a while before I dropped her off at home. I wore a green polo, and it turns out that's her favorite color, lucky me.
I really enjoyed it but it makes me sad that she's going halfway across the country for her job in a few months. She's just like one of my exes who I've missed for years. This girl tastes and smells just like her, she even turned up the volume and said "I like this song" to a song I had put on my playlist purely to remind myself of this ex. So funny how that works out.

That's kinda what I meant by "enjoyed my car afterwards." I wasn't trying to get graphic with her but she got handsy after I paid for her. At one point in the day I said "I'm literally Ryan Gosling" and she said I looked better than him, I thought that was funny. Something about she didn't like how his nose looked. The next date will probably be soon, she said she hoped our date wasn't a "one time thing" as I dropped her off.
