They can probably pull/push your teeth around when you think about it but I wouldn’t expect it to be a drastic change. There will be health benefits though if you do seriously need them, so you should do it. At the very least, it’ll make your teeth straighter. Good luck anon, I hope you commit. Braces and retainers kinda suck to have until they’re off. Just don’t quit early

In my case I had severe overlap between my maxillary central incisors and braces did help widen my smile/face slightly.

I have overbite/recessed chin and braces didn't really help that much. I'm going in for full-on orthognathic surgery as soon as I can afford it.
