I got a little drunk one time and wore a watch on both wrists (don't ask, I was trashed) and only my right wrist felt unusual, but that could have been because I never wear a watch on my wright hand.

It's retarded to just make a ridiculously low number that sells out right away and then everyone that comes in after they're gone is disappointed and doesn't buy shit. So many businesses do this shit too, I know bakeries that make like 2 dozen of their most popular donut, they all sell within the first hour and then the shelves are full of shitter donuts, and over many years the retards never think "hey, wait a minute...... Starting a new job where business casual is the advised dress code. I posted in a previous thread that I'm a watch-lette and I only have an F91W and the CA53W that I swap everyday.

I was reading the thread OP links and the AE1200 in a silver metal band and black face or black band and bronze face really stands out, but it might be too "busy" with all the meters on it.

I especially like pic rel as well. Why the hell is it so damn expensive though? I checked ebay and it's not much cheaper than amazon or casio. Would pic rel work with something like a t shirt and jeans or is it more formal?

Anon you know inflation has reduced the value of a dollar, right?

If you want the shitty base version (with a worse display, limited alarms) and no solar and no radio you can get it for $35-$50. If you want solar it's $70, if you want with solar and radio $90-120.

If you want some Casio that's just "tough HD" or whatever bullshit they call it, it's like $20-40. And honestly I'm sure that'll stand up to anything normal you do with the watch short of a deliberate torture test.

I am an enemy of the cyclops on non-Rolex watches so I recommend you avoid those. I would avoid also anything that tries to be too dressy because that's not Ball's forte. Lastly I would avoid anything obnoxiously over the top which rules out something like 90% of the collection. Go for something simple like this:

Because casio is about the only game in town when it comes to compact digital watches. So they make a slim, steel watch and they can charge whatever they want to the retards they hooked on their F91W siren song.

You could look at the A700. Also negative displays suck ass as far as readability goes

I like the VC better. I don't like the exposed screws on the face of the Santos as much. I like the gold on the VC as well as the leather band, which does make it a more formal watch, but I feel like that's appropriate.

I don't think the Santos is a bad watch by any means though, pretty good desu.

"work floor"? Like where the fuck are you working, some factory? Get some Casio if you're in some uncivilized area where a watch of a couple K is going to create issues.

The last few weeks I posted watches I stole from watchuseek on here. I wanted to see the reactions every price tier got.
So far the most positive reactions were watches in the 800-1500 dollar range.
Under that people told me things like chink watch, poor mens X and so on.
Over $1500 people were accusing me of owning cope watches or asking why I didn't buy the more expensive alternative instead.

Purchases where chrono 24 holds escro are really safe. Purchases from private sellers can be more risky, but also are usually fine. Just make use of chrono24s escro system and it's all gravy.

What's your role in the office? If you're another pleb then that doesn't work. If you're the often-present boss then it still isn't great because presumably you're going to want to advocate cost cutting at some point and that doesn't look great with a gold VC.

Maybe if you're legal counsel or something it could work.

Probably the one I like the most at the moment is the Longines one.
