synthetic jungle, probably my favourite, green fresh flowery
green irish tweed - love this one but the iris note reminds me too much of prada lhomme, I want green
bamboo harmony - really nice and I love the tea notes however perfomance seems bad on me

yes I have. I think it's good, very refreshing and minty. could be a bit more complex, but a good summer fragrance definitely
I also recommend Voyage d'Hermes Parfum, Encre Noire Sport, and the massively cheap JeP Neroli Intense
also, these are from the 90s and slightly more old school but not as much as Tabac - Declaration (actually the rose flanker could also work and is more modern smeling) and Jaipur Homme (barbershop opening, delicious oriental drydown)

I like H24 fwiw. It's too fruity for me to wear personally (and unless you're into subtle scents you'll wanna try the EDP for the extra sillage, which dials the fruitiness to the extreme) but it's genuinely a pretty unique and comfy scent.

Ok, you are right, but Philosykos is 99% green and leafy, and when the redditor said "You gotta like fruits" to a potential buyer he was misleading the guy. Same goes with H24. I own some fragrances and I recommended two of my most loved ones, which I think I know well.

i'm not a reformulation schizo usually but 2023 poal is ruined, you'll be disappointed (unlucky for me, as it's my favourite fragrance). i dont even bother to wear my latest 100ml, since the performance compared to my earlier 50ml is disgustingly bad

sample others and just accept the fact that the fragrance is dead. see the following
>le mat menditterosa
>amnesia rose aedes de venustas
>the courtyards of castello sforzesco
>experimentum crucis
>tobacco rose papillon
>rosae mundi
>rosarine by dusita (her newest, coming out in may) seems very potential

unfortunately nothing that I have tried so far contains the same raspberry that poal has, which is what I'm looking for. i have a bottle of tobacco rose in the mail and I'll be trying amnesia rose and rosarine very soon.

I recommended the Guerlain habit rouge flanker and Caron pour un homme flankers. They are more modern takes on the originals. They’re nice but not as good as the classics. But if you like the originals, and want something similar in structure but with more modern ingredients they’re great. I would also add Guerlain vetiver extreme to that previous list. Guerlain homme leau boissee is blind buy worthy if you like Terre de Hermes but want something with mint and lime instead of burnt orange. Another one worth considering is Guerlain L’instant. i have to say that i have started wearing it in earnest now that the weather has heated up and i am pretty disappointed in it. i knew it wasn't going to last, and was okay with that as it's a summertime fresh frag, but the projection and performance otherwise is so abysmal. i have to spray and spray and spray and spray and spray i think i sprayed 6 on both arms and 8 or more on my upper-chest-neck-area so like, 20 sprays and I could barely notice it. it still behaved like a skin-scent. a few hours later, someone was talking about fragrances in my workplace and they didn't even realize i was wearing anything.

you need to spray differently between hot/cold weather and seasons.
during spring/summer, if the weather for that day is from 70-100f i don't spray my heat points i only spray my clothing, shoulders and belly.

what i do is shower>apply shea butter and let the skin absorb the shea> apply iso E and let the skin aborb it> apply frags.
for some frags i use real sandalwood oil for the base and the soap i use is mysore soap.
buying your summer frags in winter and macerate them also help.

What do y’all think about storing colognes in pic rel?
I live in texas and my apartment is not well insulated. Fluctuation in temperature and high humidity is the norm. I’ve noticed my frags have changed a little so I bought this and threw them in with some silica gel packets.
I can’t find any advice on this on the internet, do you think this will be good enough to deal with the temperature changes?

I live in a 6 million city. There is one awesome store (picrel is a screencap from ther web). They are polite and all, but you can't spend two hours per week testing the stuff like you do in the mall.
Buy luxury doesn't work as most people think. 99% of the people that can afford +300$ frags don't spend hours sniffing hundreds of colognes. The clerks of this store know. Even when I dress nice, Polo, Tommy, Gant and other preppy brands, they know people like me only buy one or two of those bottles a year, so having me there is more a hassle than a profit.

If you spend like 200 bucks to try out 15 to 20 high end frags (not just a sniff in the shop, but multiple day tests for differnt conditions cause body chemistry is not a meme). Then you save up for what you want, walk into the shop and ask for the specific frag(s) you liked lay your cash down and walk out. Sales people will be like, that muthafucker know their shit, and will probably be more attentive to your needs the next time. Yes it's a very good laundry and flowers fragrance. I have a full bottle after sampling and it's versatile if not super outrageous and unique. I think the pissy urinal cake that >>17583177 noted
is the more animalic side of the jasmine coming out. Personally I think it should be way pissier than it is, I don't think it's challenging or skanky in the least really. It's a very classic old school French composition, very natural photorealistic flowers and soap, not everyone's thing but overall I really like it.

All that said if you're someone who needs to smell manly all the time you're going to be disappointed. Personally I like more androgynous or feminine scents so it's down to a matter of preference.

What do you guys think of this? I blind bought a 30ml bottle the other day for shits and giggles. I literally smells like pencil shaving and I really like it.

Fuck knows what I smell like to other people, I don't really believe the crap about it "interacting with your skin chemistry" and that it smells difference for different people. Sometimes I can smell it extremely lightly during the day and think "yepp.. that's pencil shavings". I sprayed some on a coat in the entrance and I smell it like 2 days later very faintly.

I'm just going to buy ISO E SUPER and alcohol next time or some shit because charging 70€ for 100ml is serious jewish tricks. I mean the guy didn't even have an artistic vision in mind, it feels like a scam.. it's still good shit tho
