I'm with you. I have some suede shoes, and on day I bought them I walked home and, out of a blue sky, it drizzled very slightly (as you say) for about 5-10 minutes. Hardly more than a weighty fog, but the shoes were immediately covered in water spotting discoloration and nothing I tried made any difference. They remain so to this idea, and oddly enough, the spotting on one show is noticeably different than the other, so that also hurts.
I've heard you can put some sort of coating on them, but I haven't looked into it, since it's too late to save them. Now I don't believe any suede hype.

i tried it last weekend in the mall the design, fit really good but the quality of leather wasn't really worth the price.
