Anons, share your deo recommendations.

I've tried a few different unscented deodorants recently. Someone on /frag/ recommended the Tom's of Maine unscented, but it turned out to be absolute dogshit. Not only does this "unscented" deodorant actually have a smell (lemongrass), but when applied to the skin it immediately produces an unpleasant odour reminiscent of damp socks. Don't get me wrong: the odours are very faint, but still noticeable. As for performance I'd say it's about one of the shortest lasting deos I've tried.

Pic related, which I was using before, is better in every respect, except for the fact it's an antiperspirant, which I'm trying to avoid, and having to apply paste with the fingers is just a little less convenient than a stick.

Hospital deodorant. Smells nice, but not strong. Lasts a long time. No issues with odor. Can be bought individually for cheap, or in bulk even cheaper.

Arm and hammer essentials
Works as deodorant, doesn't leave streaks on shirts, available with scents or unscented, cheap, aluminum free
Ive tried a bunch of different crunchy hippy type products and they either don't work or leave a mess on my black shirts. This stuff just works and doesn't have anything particularly nasty in it

Toms is trash. This is the only stuff I've used that didn't give me a rash, quit working, or have some gross smell. I recommend the powder and cotton scent, and the mint and eucalyptus

Alum stone : unscented, natural, cheap, efficient, lasts for 6 months.

Doesn't get any better than this, it also allows you to wear a perfume over it without smelling the two interfering with each other.

I got recommended crystal deodorant once. Got some alum, like >>17498293.
Initially I was really impressed - you still sweat, but the salt kills all bacteria, meaning you don't stink until it's washed or rubbed off.
However after using it for a while I noticed that I got clogged pores all over my armpits. Sometimes they would get inflamed and I had to pop and very painfully squeeze out parmesan-smelling pus. Stopped using it, and it took me a while to get rid of all the clogged sebum by using tretinoin.
So all in all don't recommend alum for more than occasional use.

As a side note, applying tretinoin has improved sweaty armpit smell significantly, because it increases sebum production and it doesn't stay in the skin long enough to get really rancid.

Based take the no deodorant pill
Here's how you do it
Your body odor comes from the bacterial type interaction with sweat and body oil from your genetic skin and food you eat thus you have to control these 2 variables genetic is hard and expensive thus next option is food you eat for food you should control type of protein, oil and carbs you eat
Body odor from chicken is the least worst compared to smelly meat like lamb
Easy change is to change food oil to anti bacterial oil types like coconut oil does wonders and eat fermented foods
To control actual sweat try lemon or lime as natural remedy which should work for vast majority not for minority who have fragile skin
Do anything that does make sure that there is no chance for bacteria to thrive like this one
