It's not, you probably just belong to the demographic who wears plastic garbage. You are so deep in it you literally have no idea if anything better exists. All the people you know probably wear exclusively plastic. You probably dont even know a tailor. Accept your low tier fate

Where are you from?
Especially for menswear there are online many options for nicely looking high quality clothing. Most big department stores, which you can find in city centers, only exist to scam boomers and other morons out of their money. Although some of the high-tier menswear stores do offer in my opinion decent brands like e.g. Tagliatore, if this is what you are looking fore.
Outside of online shopping I had most luck in Italy, checking out smaller boutiques outside of tourists traps is the key to success.

>>17491567
>you probably dont even know a tailor
I live in a mid-sized German city with around 300k residents and the whole city doesn't have a single real tailor left. Only two made-to-measure boutiques. And the city was one of Germanys leading producers in the textile industry until everything got outsourced to chinks.

Only problems I had so far, was when searching for high-quality (feminine) clothing for/with my girlfriend. There are for example no decent online made-to-measure providers for women as far as I know (outside of sumissura, which is mostly chinkmade plastic shit). So I would appreciate any recommendations.

With "tailor" i mean btw. someone making real bespoke clothing, you could find many of them here before the 2nd world war.
Not the turk or chink around the corner who will shorten your pants for 15 Euros.

Quit going to poorfag stores the days of good priced quality clothing is over. Go to Prada Burberry Saint Laurent Bottega Venetta or Zegna for suits or shop sales of these brands if you’re on a budget. Nowadays theres no middle ground for quality clothing it’s either cheap sweatshop shit or designer Made in Italy stuff

What do you mean by "good"? What style of clothes do you prefer? I know it can be seen as kind of a meme, but a lot of japanese companies make impeccable repros of classic american clothing from the 50s - 70s, legit high quality builds of WWI and WW2 military winter jackets, and leather jackets and boots.
