A lot of it is just adaptation. Obviously you don’t want to be wearing wool sweaters in the Texas heat, but after a certain point you’ll realize that humans aren’t actually meant to be outside all day in 35-40 degrees celsius heat, regardless of attire. Samuel Colt may have won us the west but air conditioning is what kept us here.

By all means get yourself some light linen shirts, silk is even better if you can afford it, but eventually you’ll just have to make peace with the fact you chose to live in the desert. Plenty of denim in Texas
