You need to stop using chemicals every day. They are drying our your hair, they will cause balding. Shampoo and conditioners are ultimately a chemical, and unhealthy for your scalp if you use them more than 3 to maximum 4 times a week. Especially if you are sweating a lot, super important to wash around your hairline and get that sweat off before you get some skin irritation. Sometimes I have to even it out in the back by just combing everything out at a 90 degree angle as well and blending the shortest pieces at the back with the longer ones at the bottom. my hair is about the same texture. Controlling frizz is a complete shitfight honestly. I actually preferred a mixture of facial moisturiser and argan oil over any dedicated hair product I ever tried. Just a small dab of each through damp hair. Also avoid any rough handling, brush or comb in the shower, gently pat and squeeze with a towel (no rubbing), hairdryer on low power settings, don't wash too often, etc. This'll only get you so far though and I eventually gave up and cut it short.

We all have that period of time in our youth where we get tired of having the same haircut all the time, we want to look different from the rest and feel special but the reality is that only a few men look good with long hair and most look like shit. Having long hair, knowing how to take care of it so it looks good and being able to live comfortably with it isn't easy. I also had long hair for a few years and maybe sometimes it looked good but most of the time it looked like shit. Now I wish I had never done it. Don't waste your time with long hair, it isn't worth it. Long hair is more for actors and singers that have teams of hairdressers and they always have it perfect but for regular men it's just a lot of hassle and maybe some girl finds you special for having long hair but most of them don't like it.
