>wow, look at that giant bezel reminding me where the 30 and 45 minute marks are. So glad thats there.
Its just wasted space and asesthetically poor. Yes some machined or jeweled metal can look pretty. Rolex does a very classic design on some of their bezels, but when its nearly the same aurea (in square millimeters) as the watch dial itself, its the equivalent of looking for a lengthier word to make your essay longer. Its low effort and too obviously a copout.

That all being said, if they made the dial face really big and no bezel it may not look right either. But fuck >40mm watches, theres no need for that.

I still dont think its the largest violator of not using space well. As a dive watch, visibly, everything is there and concise. To me, I would have a harder time mixing up the hour/minute hands, and where the minute hand lays. The FF bathyscaphe is by far the largest violator of space though imo.

>Rolex does a very classic design on some of their bezels
They still do not fully indice their bezzles though. Dives last much longer than 15 minutes lol. The Seiko cushion-like case just needs to be scaled down a bit though, sure.

A plain-ish white watch is versatile and goes well with a variety of clothes. A dive watch or some ugly chronograph, on the other hand, doesn't.

There are way too many men today who have the fashion sense of a five year old. Imagine chubby engineering majors (or aging millennials) wearing cargo shorts, graphic t-shirts, and dive watches that hang over their wrists. There are even guys who don't even know how to wash themselves. I knew a guy who gave his gf a skin infection on her face after kissing her because he didn't wash his beard.

It also doesn't help that the type of people who wears a Rolex (assuming it isn't a fake) or some other status symbol watch are often douchebags. Gold-diggers don't care, but for plenty of women, that's a red flag.

Lots of watches are like that. A quartz watch you are probably OK getting dicked by Bezos. I don't buy automatics from there after I got one with a blank warranty card that was clearly used and returned because the day/date dial was broken and the stickers off of it. Don't trust nigger sellers on Amazon, assume no warranty always.

That is 100% because you have a deficient personality. Even if they like your watch, they don't want to say anything that would make you feel good.
If you had actual friends, they'd know you're into watches and would compliment your watch because they know you'd appreciate the comment.

Just got my Venturer GMT. This is my first watch ever. Looks even better than I expected and sits nice on my tiny wrists.

Couple scary moments though. Date seems to sit slightly towards the right of the window (maybe coz it is 4pm?) and metal shavings fell out while removing links. One link is stiff and doesn’t like to articulate, and one screw came corroded and was hard to remove.

I don’t know, maybe I’m overreacting. Or maybe I messed something up adjusting the bracelets myself. I’m just going to be happy about my new watch and play around with it for now.
