Thanks, I have watched it actually but years ago. From what I remember it's kind of like if Big Lebowski was about getting laid. The core message is that a funny, cool, decent looking guy with a prosthetic beer gut is more attractive to the female lead than a model looking guy who can't string two words together and who falls asleep during ballet or opera or whatever.

In that case, your problem isn't really your face, it's the focal length of the cameras you're using to take pictures of it.
If I had to guess, a longer focal length from a further-away distance will make you look more like the way you see yourself in the mirror. Try taking pictures of yourself from twice as far away as you usually do.
