I've got weird al type curly hair and it's pretty dope actually but it's a pretty limiting type of hair, meaning you can't really style it too much.
What's really important though is two things :
- Getting a proper haircut regularly (don't go for a square cut)

Well, not quite, but the truth is, people need to analyse their face first before growing it.

Also, you need to do a lot of maintenance to it to make it look good and decent, and to not look like the corner hobo or drunk metalhead.

From my experience, the longer it was, the harder it was to maintain it, also people start to look at you funny + you have to tie it everywhere you go, or if you walk into a supermarket with it down chances are the security guard will follow you around, basically these pictures don't reflect the reality of having long hair with all their products and lightning and NO FUCKING WIND, which every time seems to go against the way I'm walking..

My advice to anyone is firstly, make sure you have a good hair routine, and you have the time and patience to do it, also DON'T grow it too much -> Kurt Cobain tier hair is perfect for men, but firstly please analyse your face and make sure you'll not look like a pufferfish or neckbeard with it.

I didn't cut my extremely curly hair for a year because I kept putting it off and now that it's gotten some weight to it I can actually part it back and have it actually look good instead of being poofy, I genuinely didn't think this was possible because the middle period where it's not long enough to do anything with but not short cropped either looks terrible and I'd always just cut it, I feel like I've entered a new chapter in life lol.
