I don't know anything about fashion but I'm tired of dressing like a young boy. What should I wear that will make me look mature and have sex appeal?

How old are you? I think the safest route is to wear the standard pieces of 1950s/1960s american fashion, or just generally go for the workwear/western/cowboy look. Get a couple nice pairs of selvedge denim and wear the fuck out of them every single day. Invest in some good flannels, a utility/chore coat such as the Carharrt Detroit jacket or any waxed canvas work jacket, a good pair of leather boots. I live in Portland and generally women here love a dude who has that look of someone who works a skilled trade job and has some elements of western wear. This is a look you can adopt for the rest of your life because the articles of clothing you're going to wear are based off of timeless American fashion and is not going to go out style ever. You do however have to consider your age and whether you do naturally have a mature masculine appearance. Can you grow facial hair easily? Do you lift weights? Do you work a skilled trade job? Do you ride a motorcycle?

No. Filson is absolutely dogshit compared to a lot of other brands of workwear that are actually american made. It's a Ship John Wills jacket, made here in Portland.

Thats awesome man. You have everything going for you then. Definitely adopt the workwear/western look if you're trying to slay puss

Horrendously overpriced clothing with average build quality, stitching, and materials that are made in southeast asia. Its the brand of clothing for dudes who want to look like they are mountain men, but are not. I bought a pair of their canvas work pants for my construction job and the stitching ripped the legs in half in less than a year. I do have to rephrase, they're not terrible clothes since they do look very nice, but they are certainly overpriced for giving the appearance of workwear without actually feasibly being workwear. If you are interested in waxed canvas jackets, there are way better companies out there such as Heat Straps or Ship John.

Any experience with their jackets? (e.g. mackinaw cruiser) that's what I understand they're known for.

Their mackinaw cruiser is supposedly one of their remaining based items. Apparently Filson actually used to be a great company, but in recent years they've sold out in the sense that they cut corners with their build quality with a lot of items while continuing to increase the prices.
