I'm a big fan of western shirts, they're basically just regular plaid/flannel shirts but with snaps and sometimes a different pocket or shoulder yoke shape for a bit of extra flair, and they tend to be really well-priced for the quality.

I'd avoid synthetic /out/ pants like that guy seems to be wearing though, just go with jeans or regular chinos.

Depends on what you use it for. My favorites are Särmä wool flannel for allround usage, Fjällräven Singi polyester flannel for moisture wicking, Patagonia insulated flannel for insulation.

I don't understand why when people turn 30 they feel the need to dress in a way that they think is mature. It's basically only in your 30's too because in your 40's you seem to stop caring as much about how other people perceive you but don't have interest in fashion due to what you did in your 30's. It's like 30 year olds are the teenagers of adults where they're trying really hard to show everyone else how mature they are.
