What is the most effay candle?


It's November and cold and I love candles. But they usually fall into a very basic and womanly category of vanilla and spices or mainstream architectural digest meh.

What are some deeper cuts and more effay and interesting candles and brands out there?

I am quite literally a candle virgin, you got me there.

I live with my parents and my mother doesn't like having open flames around the house cuz of the danger for fire, etc. Its really dumb because we actually even have a few sitting around decoratively we just never light them.
I don't really care for them that much though. So I don't mind in the end. Though I'm sure if I smelt a really nice one I'd change my mind.

If you’re based in the US I’d recommend Homesick. The candles look basic but they pack a nice medley of scents. Also fuck spending triple digits on candles.

Honestly, I usually go to TK Maxx and buy whatever I think looks and smells nice. I mostly burn unscented candles I buy from wherever they're cheap.
