I swap between pic related and a canada goose citadel parka in the winter. I live in one of the coldest climates in the world so when it comes to winter clothing function is more important to me than fashion.

People compliment it a lot and it looks very nice. People do perceive Barbour here as more luxurious as someone in the UK might.

I will say it’s much slimmer in the arms which can be a negative when layering with say a thicker sweater. In the pic it got a light tee on, under a hoodie, under the Ashby I’d say it does get a little tight. And I’m a Lanklet.

I know it sounds like I’m dogging it but it’s probably my favorite piece of outerwear, especially considering I didn’t pay the full price tag.

These types of coats look so shit, if you're going to a very very cold place you should wear a one piece. These jackets always make the wearer look like a larping skelly whose legs are 1/500 the size of the jacket, I know because I used to wear these when I was younger and skelly. Consider a shorter jacket, they always look far better.
