17239352

Minoxidil does not target the root cause of hair loss: DHT miniaturizing hair follicles. It might initially give you great results, but if used on its own, your hair is still going to fall out eventually.

Pyrilutamide is the hottest thing people are talking about now. It's an antiandrogen topical that's more effective than finasteride and also safer according to phase 2 trials.

Some people are getting their hands on it but I don't know about the legalities surrounding that.

The topical fin and min are both alcohol and PG free and mixed with those oils leaves a nice smelling effect and can even style with it instead of gel, if you don't mind a slick look.

The science says, topical minoxidil isn't as effective as oral minoxidil at regrowing hair because topical doesn't do a good job of reaching the hair follicles.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXu9qtdf3AY
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSVTPK2kT0A

And for the people screaming "side effects", the dosage used to affect blood pressure is far greater than what you can use to regrow hair.

Furthermore, taking it sublingually (let the pill dissolve under your tongue instead of swallowing it) bypassing the liver and reduces the chance of side effects even more.

>>17238688

You need the pills.

They are fairly easy to get your hands on through overseas pharmacies.

Get 5mg, split it into 4 parts and put a piece under your tongue every other night when you go to sleep.

When I started at the age of 37, I had the dreaded M-shaped hairline.

Now at 40?

I've made a massive recovery.

That red line marks the upper most brow line on my forehead from furrowing my brow so much.

It's harder to see in the second picture since HRT and tret has faded it so much, but look at how far back my hairline was in 2018 compared to now.

And I've got ZERO balding on my crown.

My crown is suuuuuper thick.

I get compliments on my hair and how beautiful it is, all day, almost every day.

If I didn't do any thing to stop my hair loss, I'd be a total slaphead right now.

At first I didn't care and I just accepted it when I was 28.

But after it reached a certain point, it started to bug me; even more so as a repressing trans person.

Now I have an amazing head of hair and I can tolerate looking in the mirror.

Even if it's not perfect, by taking measures to stop my balding, it will be just that easier to get a transplant in the future if I decide to get one.

If you're younger than me and contemplating taking the plunge, just do it.

You'll thank yourself later.

Look at humans who have lack the receptors fin blocks genetically, they just take longer in childhood to speciate into male characteristics but end up the same, whereas men without testosterone do not exist, in fact not even women can live without testosterone. Past puberty massive dht deficiency is entirely invisible, whereas it is immediately obvious for hundreds of signs when someone is low in testosterone. Just because dht binds more to the prostate and skin cells doesnt make it a more useful or effective form of testosterone. Reading comprehensionlet
