I think it's a nice design but it also looks kind of big. It's only a couple of millimeters bigger than the original but the dial looks huge. I think you need a beefy wrist to pull it off. Unlike the square which even women can pull off. Also they kept the bracelet from the square which doesn't fit the design at all. I think it clashes.

The orientation of the numbers kinda does for the simple fact that it makes 9 look like a 6, from a certain point of view, but it's more of a "you'll get used to it" things and less of an actual bother. Really love that the date & day just snaps into place at midnight instead of slowly rotating into place. I own a Seiko 5 too and that slow transition to the next day/date kinda irks me.

I found the full metal square really disappointing. I didn't have an issue with the endlinks although I thought it was weird and made the watch wear unnecessarily large. But the bracelet and clasp feel like what you get on a 200$ Seiko 5 with an oyster bracelet knockoff. Mine has sat in a drawer for months. I regret not getting one with a metal case and resin band. It's also weird to me that they are using the same setup for the metal Casioaks. It's shit.

Really obnoxious, i like the watch but that movement costs oris $40 each, maybe $50 with installing a custom rotor. They could at least use an sw-300.
Otherwise dig the brass and stainless two tone and the dial, its a really nice looking relase for them, and i generally think the divers 65 looks good.
Also the 100m of water resistance is annoying. Its more than you will ever use but its a dive style watch that isn't a dive rated wstch and it comes off as more of a cost saving measre than trying to keep the design slim or other aesthetic concerns.

Yes, but generally do you actually care about the movement or do you more so care about brand recognition or the finishing, case,dial hands, indices and all the stuff you actually look at? Sure, you could get a Zelos with a sw200 for cheaper than an Oris, or some Sanmartin, but its not the movement you are paying for, its everything else. (sw200 is a great and reliable movement anyway.)

Get the orient kamasu instead. Its an overall nicer watch and the Sapphire crystal is a basic thing that every watch should have in current year. Glass crystals will get scratched up over time. Find it cheap on ebay or jomashop or something.
