>lots of layering, particularly: t shirt, linen/wool shirt, wool overshirt, mac
It's not about "dressing like snufkin" but about embodying the energy, which you can do with the above. And try different colours than olive drab

Seconding this. You can find old Trove stuff (back when they did a sort of Mori Boy style, like picrel) for relatively cheap on secondhand sites if you're lucky; I got most of my Trove pieces that way. Although the style is long dead in Japan, there are still some active English-language mori groups online.

(belated continuation) I do think the neofolk threads here might have good resources for sourcing clothes you could use for mori boy, especially basics. Both styles emphasize natural fabrics, durable materials, etc, but mori is more whimsical (all the layering!) and less focused on certain historical eras or accuracy. It is purely vibe based. Snufkin definitely feels more mori to me – he's a wandering hermit and has that cutesy feeling to him, like >>17185361 said – but looking into related styles could still be helpful.
