Impressionism or Post-Impressionism. Older stuff is hard to integrate with modern interior design and can look a bit larpy. More modern abstract art or photography will turn your room into an office hellscape.

You need to pick a style, modern, old masters, americana, whatever. Then hit the thrift store, flea markets, craigs list, and see whats available. Get what you like and fuck what other people think, it's your space to fill with things you like.

It isn't really about taste for art. You can love one type of art and not want to display it all the time on your walls. Certain art styles can make a room look dated, tacky, sovlless or uninviting. Its more about being aesthetically pleasing + fitting with your space and not about being an art critique.

It depends on the aesthetic of your room.
As another anon said most users have absolute shit taste in art so take everything with a grain of salt.
If you're going for a chic Bateman style maybe try some Patrick Nagel prints. Make sure you buy authentic or at least high quality prints regardless of the artist chosen. Nothing looks worse than anything pre-1980s printed on cheap poster paper and hung with the tackiest/cheapest frame possible.
Do not get Mucha prints, it looks like shit in any aesthetic. If you want Mucha and are going for an art nouveau aesthetic get the framed mirrored reproductions.
