i've never been into fashion but it's come around to bite me in the ass. i'm going out and have no clue what to wear. this is what i cobbled together but i think it looks terrible; i'd appreciate any advice greatly

Your pants are too cropped and your shoes look slightly too large for your feet but that could just be the angle. Your tshirt and overshirt are bland; they're not offensive but they're not interesting at all either. You look completely unremarkable at the moment. How do you want to dress? Looks like shit. Its okay if you are 18-22, any age above that and this is pure cringe.
>Don't wear a baseball cap EVER
>Get decent shoes (no plastic running shoes or nigger-like sneaker shit). Look for decent boots, simple high quality sneakers or classic leather shoes (brown derbys for example), depending on your taste
>pants look okay, keep them. Might add higher quality dark denim jeans to your collection and blue or dark green or brown chinos
>get a few nice shirts depending on your taste, button-down collars should be fine for the begining. Linen shirts for summer. (Wear t-shirts only if you have a good body or if you are using them as underwear)
>look for jackets depending on your taste. A classic sports jacket/blazer, leather jacket or barbour jacket can all work
>avoid polyester or any other plastic shit fabric
>start building your wardrobe slowly and play around what fits you and your personality and what doesn't. Try to buy clothes that work well togther and with what you already have instead of focusing too on much on individual outfits

not terrible for a normie, but a few things I would say need improvement.
- pants fit a bit too slim for my liking
- I wouldn't cuff the shirt sleeves, and denim shirt could be improved by using a more interesting fabric & color OR getting some basic jacket/outerwear
- graphic tees are not well-liked here, so a solid color tee (white, navy, grey) with no branding will look significantly better

other than that, you did pretty well for someone who has never been into fashion

all these pieces combine to make a clusterfuck of bad proportions
your shoes look HUGE because of the crop on those pants. the overshirt is too small imo & rolling up ur sleeves hasnt helped that especially with ur twinky wrists and arms. if it were a size bigger it would all be fine. the hat also makes ur head look bigger which along with the already weird proportions makes a bad situation even worse.
you also seem quite diminutive in size
i like the colour palette however. legit just get a slightly looser/bigger shirt and pants with a less retarded crop and it'll be a comfy casual fit
