I ordered some onitsuka tiger weeb shoes (not this color but the same model, MOAL 77 NM) and I am already wondering if I fucked up on the sizing. I read somewhere that they run larger than nike, and I ended up going for measuring my foot, seems to be a lil more than 28cm, which is exactly what my dress shoes' sizing table states (28.2 or so at 44eu/10us). Meanwhile I have puma, nike and asics sneakers all claiming to be 29cm in 44.5, 45 and 46 (asian market tho) respectively. Also got rollerblades in 44.5 claiming to be 29 cm.

I guess it's always gonna be a bet tho, and I also didn't feel like spending thrice the price to get multiple sizes at once lmao. Any experiences with these?

Any good sneaker cleaning guides/tips? I have NB237s which have a porous white midsole that tends to cling to dirt. The tongue also has some staining from color leaching out of the suede upper. They will. The squeaking is the smooth leather tongue and the smooth leather eyestay rubbing against each other.
Once the shoes are worn in a bit and the leather stretches they won't press against each other so snugly anymore, no longer creating a seal and squeaking.
It's something EVERY snuggly fitting shoe with both a smooth leather tongue and smooth leather eyestay suffers from and why a lot of makers opt for using rougher leather for the eyestays.

You must not have been wearing them or are tying them very tightly then.
If it's annoying you you can also just take some sandpaper to the inner eyestays and rough up the leather where the tongue is rubbing against it, hell, tape works too if you don't feel like doing anything irreparable.

I have a pair of these in black veg leather, I use them for weight lifting at the gym and they're a solid choice for that. Overall nice looking cheap shoes, especially for how cheap they are. Ordering off the website was an absolute shitshow though, I ordered them december last year and didn't end up getting them until around march of this year, and this was after I emailed them maybe 4 or 5 times complaining. Then when they finally sent my order I only got 1 of the 2 pairs I ordered and deleted my bad reviews i left. They ended up giving me the pair for free though for fucking up so bad.

If you have heel slip that rubs your ankles raw definitely mess around with the lacing a bit.
Ideally the shoe should just fit well enough for it to not be necessary, but there's ways you can lace your shoes that push your foot further back into the heel which can help a lot with it.

If the shoe fits properly and you still have those issues then yeah, it might just be the heel stiffener being too hard and needing to be broken in. If it's made of leather it shouldn't take too long, but if you have a plastic one like many cheaper shoes it can take forever.
