What color babby PRX should I get? Normally I always get black so I'm being forced to branch out. I was interested in the ice blue but it looks pretty weak in person. The white/silver with rose gold actually impressed me alot but it's not my typical kind of color.

Reps are for poor faggots who dont want others to enjoy things.
the satisfaction of owning a rep is not the craftsmanship or anything similar - its literally destroying the brand for the others.
thats all there is to it.
you see them here sometimes talking about how stupid it is to buy a genuine watch if you can get a "good" rep for 1/10th of the price, thats because they always have to compare themselves to the people who own the real thing.
for them, the fact that their rep-buying lessens the preceived value of the real watch, is a big, if not THE most important part of owning one.

so let me tell you: if you come here and say
>The existence of fakes harms honest watch buyers who own the real thing
the repfaggot will immediately conter with something like
>OH SO WHAT LMAO THESE RICH IDIOTS DESERVE IT!!!
because well... for the repfaggots, harming the real brand is a very, very important part of the rep experience.

like luxury luxury? I’m sure a small run or a specific micro brand would do well, but generally cloutfags fear the lcd. Luxury relative to a regular lcd, the Casio 1000 and that Yema led seem to do okay, but they don’t seem to do huge numbers either.
I think the problem is lcd is the ultimate symbol of working class efficiency.

They still have a bigger "field" variant of Olympos so you're not entirely right. That said, I wish there were more normal sized watches styled exactly like "unusual" vintage watches except better, since now that shit can be manufactured for thousand times less.

Im looking to buy a expensive used watch off Chrono24 for the first time.

I am buying of a dealer from Japan. They have sent extra photos which all look great to me, they have 900 positive reviews.

Yet something in the back of my head is screaming at me that im going to get scammed. i.e. the movement doesnt keep good time or the previous owners done something dodgy with it

What actual protection do you have from Chrono24? is it worth contacting the dealer directly and asking for a discount to buy direct?

I could be totally wrong but my understanding is chrono 24 hangs onto your money until you've received the watch and confirm it is what you expected. So you could take it to an ad and verify authenticity, put it in one of those accuracy measuring things, etc etc before c24 releases funds. I've never actually bought anything from there but that's my understanding from reading the site.

I got the black one so every metallic strap looks like ass with it

I ended up buying the extremely overpriced nike one (after buying a few very uncomfortable chink ones) and it looks terrible. I got more compliments for casios than it
And even when I see a bootleg one that looks interesting, like pic related, I know in the back of my head that it will look like shit irl and be very uncomfortable

Give me go anywhere do anywhere watch ideas that don’t just look like explorers or aqua terras from the case. I’m aiming for under $5k hopefully around $3k
Qualifications are
>water resistant doesn’t need to be a real diver though
>bracelet but not integrated
>no dive bezel
>can pass as casual, sporty or kinda dressy
I was thinking of the nomos ahoi. The tudor bb36 is also great looking, but the dial is boring and the watch shape itself feels very generic so it falls under the explorer esque umbrella
