Black Shawl/Tassel Loafers are most dressy of men's slip-on leather shoes and would look best with charcoal gray (or tan in Spring/Summer) dress slacks in wool paired with sports jacket/blazer in black or dark navy. The picrel example is excellent idea with muted micro-check pattern slacks with dark gray socks. Awesome cop anon.

These are *mid-tier quality* men's *casual* style shawl-tassel loafer (admittedly dressiest of loafer types), because the *thick treaded rubber sole* gives them that casual feel. Quality if leather is also abit middling.

They would be okay with chinos, dark denim or possibly wool slacks.

They aren't dressy enough to wear with dress slacks and blazer and definitely not with a suit. Leather + leather soled black (e.g., like this >>17045969), (or in oxblood depending on color scheme of fit) would be necessary for dressy fits.

According to my foot length and the online size guide im size 44 perfectly, but when i went to the store and tried some on the size 44 was way too loose and nearly flopping around, and 43 was only slightly too small. Do loafers expand slightly after getting worn in like other leather shoes?

Actually two-tone and three-tone shoes are very versatile because of multiple colors.

So you could use the brown to match with earthtones, or the forest green to match with navy blue or the white to match with white in summer shorts / slacks fit.

You would choose one or even two colors to tie into an outfit. Very based option tbvh.

Guys' loafers are stylish and convenient because they're leather and slip-on. You can dress them up and down depending on fit. You think they're effeminate because of dominance of Athleisure look in clothes and shoes (trainers and vans) in 2022, and loss of connection with /TIP/ - preppy style as daily wear. To me it seems pretty regular casual, but to you it's like somehow retro-weird or foreign.
