I really like the idea of a sleeve (6'5" slim but fit guy) but don't wanna just put anything there.

I generally like tats myself but I have guidelines:

- Keep it somewhere you can conceal like torso, legs or upper arms.
- Don't get massive back tats unless you're some kind of Italian mobster
- Done by skilled and reputable artist while you are sober.
- Don't get some gay chinese writing you boring cliche fag
- Avoid sleeves unless you have a beard and are at least a little tanned. Otherwise you just look like a chav.
- If you do get a sleeve anyway, make sure the colouring is primary and not a faded pastel
- Don't get some shit from a video game or something, get something special to you.
- No regrets

Tats can look really sick, just don't be retarded about it and think long and hard about it. If you have an idea, let it sit for a month or two and if you still like the idea then go for it.

Then I had a cool idea about the conch shell. It stands for spreading the dharma in Buddhism and it’s a Main symbol of Human Power over others in „Lord of the flies“. It seems like you could make a cool design out of that

Memento Mori tattoos seem like a classic. I mean it makes sense, it's just a constant reminder that way. Although incorporating the devil and adding a "..." defeats the purpose of "you could die any second, idiot." because it suggests life might go on.
It's part of the "Vanitas" symbolism during the Baroque period.
I particularily like the motive I posted, it's from a monastery in Germany

Here are some quick kshots of the inside and outside, there is another row of smaller designs on the back I couldn't easily photograph and a moon and clouds thing on the shoulder cap. I have a bunch of knotwork on my leg, I think it's a great design but I get asked often if it's Celtic inspired lol.
