we have basically the same hair and i have the problem also. the best fix for it is after blow drying my hair i use a roller brush and brush it the opposite way it curls and then let it air dry for the rest. the way it dries is usually the way it sits for the rest of the day

Anon, this is the natural wave/curl in your hair that shows with length. This is normal, for many people, as hair grows. Either live with the curl, cut hair shorter, or use a flat iron. The flat iron option would remove a lot of attractive volume and give your hair a sleek feminine look, which I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want. The reason is there is too much hair on the back and your hair is getting pushed to the sides.
To fix it, you need to thin out the hair on the back.
Also this >>15995563 helps if you have longer hair.
All other advice for curly hair are aimed at jewfro which would not help you.
