For a month or two flex in either direction or when I'm thru hiking I carry both.

I have multiple colors of the minus33 for my different ski gear. I pretty much ski or hike every day of my life, so my fasion is a bit different that city folk.

I'm getting older and dressing more accordingly
I want a summer hat to take attention away from my oddly shaped head. Caps, bucket hats, and all their variants aren't gonna cut it anymore so it's either a boater or a Panama, and I much prefer the shape of the former.

it's just a hat, man. just because it existed before our time doesn't mean it has to stay in the past. I don't want my clothing choices to always be in accordance to what's currently trending or widely acceptable. I'm 30 btw if that matters.

The original Crocodile Dundee hat was a black rabbit fur felt hat made by Akubra. That might feel hot during the summer, especially because of the black color. Leather hats could get hot, though, and waxed cotton might be better for the summer.

Nice. I like both the ribboned and leather banded hats. The leather bands are more casual, while the ribbons, usually made of grosgrain, silk, or at times cotton or synthetic fabrics, lend a bit more formal appearance, and would also look at home with a suit or sports jacket.
