I've been keeping the sides short as fuck faded because if it's so short that it's the same color as my skin it's less noticeable, but I have to go get my hair cut every 2 weeks ( it only looks good 1 week after cutting desu, but it's way too much to cut every week ). When I first started fin, I noticed after about 6 months a marked decrease in sexual pleasure, i.e. my orgasms and ejaculations weren't as strong. I had that during my teens. I didn't wash my hair well enough or often enough, got big buildup of waxy sebaceous gunk, I could scratch my scalp and peel off chunks. Wash your hair more, rinse out the shampoo better, squeeze and rub off that stuff without digging into your scalp and making it scab. It'll go away.
