I like l'eau d'issey intense and l'eau bleue d'issey. First is an angular incense and bitter citrus frag, bit of a powerhouse. Second is decievingly named, it's a super green aromatic that's heavy on the rosemary. Both based in my humble opinion

Two years ago I tried Fahrenheit and liked it, but there was something that put me off buying it. Eighteen months ago I tried it again and I felt the same, but couldn’t stop sniffing it. some fragrances last a few good days or even weeks on clothes. try it on home clothes or something to know if that's the case. some poor performing fragrances perform poor on clothes too, but generally longer than on skin, at least as far as longevity goes. some more challenging smells can smell a bit nasty on clothes after a while, i get this with dark rebel rider, maybe i contributed to that too, hehe

I've recently got in to fragrances, my collection so far is basic, but it's Sauvage (edt,) Cool Water, Hermes (edt,) ADG Profumo, CK One, and Invictus (last two were gifts and i'm not a huge fan.)

I can't be bothered to list them all, but I got 5 bortnikoff, 5 neela vermiere, 5 bogue, 5 jardin de france, and two parfums dusita. Aus liebe zum duft were always nice to me and gave me 2-3 samples when I ordered my papillon & malle bottles, but this was really unexpected.

I just tried out chypre du nord from bortnikoffs new release and jeez this thing is potent. Very spicy and woody, and the most dirty musky I've smelled from him, but still elegant (I don't get the same "creamy" musky thing here as in musk cologne).

Wrt musk cologne I see where you're coming from, I however had it the other way around in the sense that I didn't like it in the beginning, but kept coming back to it. I just feel there's a bit more depth here, especially in the dry down. That said I love amber coologne as well, and it will likely be my next bottle (although with this order I got another sample of it, so now I'm restocked)

I have aqua 18, it's basically a fesher invictus. If 16 smells like mb legend spirit, then i get the hype, i will probably buy legend spirit. I figured i need a lot more fresh fragrances than ones for warmer wheather, late spring till early autumn is a lot of time and you go out more in that time compared to winter. At this moment mb legend smells better than aqua 18, could not tell if it smells closer to 16, wasn't into frags back then. Legend spirit is a white florar refreshing aquatic, aqua 18 is a woodier and slightly sweeter

You don't know shit about flooring. I've got vinyl click and lock flooring in my house that sells for 5 dollars a square foot. Most nail-down hardwood sells for less than that. Also my stuff is padded, very wear resistant, and never needs to be refinished.

The violet and leather in the EdT together can smell an awful lot like raw gasoline.
However, that burns off in a couple minutes and after that it's just beautiful.
It's a classic and worth having in your collection.

The cologne is sort of meh. Smells exactly like Dunhill Fresh. It's OK. a nice, woody-citrus summer scent with a little violet to remind you it's Fahrenheit.

I've never tried the parfum.
