Hm hard to tell everyone’s hair is individual post a pic please so I can see how it is currently.
Wax can weigh it down and get clumpy especially with wavy hair and locks
I would use something more light weight like hair Creme. Use sea salt spray (just a lil bit) and some hair cream in damp hair and let it air dry. Of course it will never look exactly like you want it to and it will get out of order during the day. I think with long hair one has to relax and accept that it has a life on its own but that is part of its casual nice look

Im a Banker, when I started 10 years ago long hair was frowned upon but it’s really different now, can grow the beard long and the hair as long as you bring in the money and everything is clean you are good to go. I shave with a single blade like this barber shop blades. But besides that nothing fancy except beard oil every morning.

It really depends on your hair type and how you style it. I noticed that a lot of the long hair styling videos catered specifically to guys tend to be garbage. They often are big on air drying, tell people to avoid heat tools like the plague. The resulting messy style is what makes guys with long hair look old. Don't be afraid of products or heat tools, just don't be a retard and forget the heat protectant beforehand, otherwise you're just begging to fry your hair off otherwise. Its easy to get impatient and not want to wait through the months were your hair is not going to look great because you're just letting it grow. After that, there's more upkeep with longer hair which some guys are used to/willing to put up with in order to make longer hair look good.

depends. I've grown my hair out for 7 years but my hair type is 1b. Most dudes look like shit with long hair if they have a 2, 3, or 4 hair type. It can look okay with type 2 hair but just look up a hair type chart.

My only advice is wash your hair about every 3 days. Washing your hair everyday is going to make your scalp too greasy, and your ends crunchy (congratulations you now have gamer hair).

I'd say you got just wavy hair then, make sure to use products for wavy/curly hair, and keep length in mind.

Hair will curly/straighten more with length due to the weight of the hair.

Avoid blow-driers unless they have a diffuser, and make sure to use hair styling product (Just holding foam should be good enough) to keep it in check, especially if there's any humidity or it's winter.

If you can, get a micro-fiber towel, apparently they're super good for curly/wavy hair, although I've yet to purchase one, so I can't guarantee it's effectiveness.

The most recommended products I've heard of aren't available in my country, however using John Freida's curly hair shampoo and conditioner hasn't had any bad results thusfar.

Interestingly, I've heard (but cannot confirm) that if you buzzcut curly/wavy hair as it grows back it can change curl type and intensity, or even become borderline straight. Although I've never done it myself, so I got no clue if it's some total bullshit or not.

I'm pretty sure you can buy diffusers to put on the end of blow-driers, I avoid blow-driers so that's advice I'm relaying from a friend with much curlier hair than mine.

Gels and sprays exist too, gels aren't the weird Limp Bizkit early 2000's looking trash they used to be, so gels can be good. Sprays are pretty shit in my experience, unless you're intentionally trying to frizz/puff up your hair/ Great for Glam-Style looks if you wanna look like you are a pedo musician from the 80's, not much else.
The schwarzcoff holding foam (maximum strength one) is the holding foam I use, it's good. John Freida's foam is also good, although not as good as the Schwarzcoff one imo

To the best of my knowledge extract shouldn't mean anything.
BUT, what you absolutely must do is AVOID SULFATES.
Sulfates are great for cleaning dirt and grease out, but with curly hair they also dry out your hair, which leads to frizz.

Essentially hair curls because of the way it grows from the root afaik, so there's some degree of room for change when you buzzcut, because of the conditions for growth, alongside just luck. Although interestingly the science of human hair isn't actually very studied (since it needs live test subjects) and all that can be 100% certain is curly hair is different in the fiber level from straight hair, but how different, I got no fucking clue.

If you mean models and stuff, they use a lot of hair holding product and take hours with professional hairdressers all focusing on one person.

The average everyday person, including women, will get frizz, will get split ends. But women have more products, deep conditioners are useful because they help prevent your hair getting too dry too fast, use them once or twice a week.

It really comes down to male hair products are less diverse and less common, because your average dude has short hair and just uses 7-in-1 bodywash, shampoo, conditioner, cock lube stuff on their hair, and aren't taught how to maintain their hair properly as a kid beyond "use shampoo and conditioner."
SO don't be afraid to buy womens products, trust me, nobody except insecure retards would care if you use a mens or womens hair product
