How do you tell how something like this fits? I've been wanting to buy a couple of Yohji or diffusion line items, but I don't really know what to expect. I already have a couple of oriental type pants. I'm familiar with doing measurement comparison but I don't know how well it would work for some more complex garments.

if you buy on y!jp/rakuten/mercari most sellers post measurements. so measure yourself and/or a garment that fits you. yohji and all his diffusion lines fit oversized generally when if comes to pants, jackets, and most shirts. a lot of basic knitwear and more formal shirts fit true to size.

i would suggest buying one piece and you'd generally get an idea how similar items fit.
