How are you supposed to dress from the age of 28 and up real talk.

I have worn triple black since 18, what is supposedly a sign of not making myself look like a manchild? I feel this means buying an entirely new wardrobe

to add to this, streetwear - no go? I have some Mishka hoodies that have sat around in the wardrobe for ages, jeans? do people even wear jeans anymore , no idea

Rock post-irony core. Things simultaneous from the future and past. Get a casio calculator watch, jeans or nice texture dockers, custom printed shirts for obscure shit no one cares about, hoodies under back to the future vests, and shoes so blatantly peacock that even God will wince, like the Protomax or these fuckers.

You do not need to dress like alpham when you become a 28 year old boomer.

35 year old here. My take:

Learn to be friends with button downs. They work great in both casual and formal settings and as long as you're not fat and you get them in a good size. When it gets hot I like to unbutton a few and roll up the sleeves, wear a nice necklace of gold or healing crystal (whatever you like, people will hate on shark teeth and Maori stuff but normies think it looks cool). As long as you're in shape you can pull off this look for the rest of your life. Don't get shirts skintight and only tuck them in when you have to. In colder weather invest in some preppy knit sweaters and cardigans, stay away from the cheap stuff that screams "asian or arab retail salesperson"

You can start pulling off blazers in casual settings at this point. It's a bit reddit if you pair it with flat caps and T shirts, but if done well looks mature and looks refined. You can start rocking blazers when you're out and about, like patios or get-togethers, and it won't look tryhard unless you're in rural US.

You can keep the jeans but really should phase out the track pants and joggers. Rips, patches and fades are OK within reason, don't get the ones with fake crayola writing and leopard print knee patches. Keep the fit consistent with your body. Skinny fit requires a skinny body. A lot of people put on weight in their 30s. if it happens to you, do what you can to control it but don't dress like you're still in peak shape. It's OK to wear regular fit or even relaxed if you really balloon.

>most important advice

Ignore the spergs on here, /fa/ is a cancerous hivemind. All you have to do is read the QTDDTOT threads to realize they have no mind of their own, absolutely insecure, these dummies ask if they are ALLOWED to wear specific articles of clothing. Most of the advice offered to people our age is offered by youth who don't trust anyone over 30. I'd say 1/4 of the posters on here are 12-18. Do you really value what your kid's friends think about your clothing?

Depends on your build. I know it's a normie meme but there's a lot of truth to picrel. Wear pants that match your frame. On this board "silhouette " means the amount of silly black Japanese kendo pants and black capes you can wear, but for our purposes consider your silhouette to be the even balance between top and bottom, thick and thin and big and small.

I would say if you're slightly underweight you can get away with it. I'd say a good rule is

Skinny, underweight - Skinny Fit

Slim, slender, or /fit/ - slim fit

Average/skinnyfat/out of shape - regular fit

Somewhat overweight -
Relaxed fit

Very overweight/obese - stick to chinos or slacks, avoid jeans altogether.

Depends on what you can pull off. Though, I would seriously ditch trying to copy youth trends or whatever people wear to clubs.

At that age, you should have an idea of what works for you and focus on refining that -- usually minimizing.

This is how you know that /fa/ never leaves the house. The only thing that you have to stop wearing as a boomer is skinny jeans and the really obnoxious and flamboyant stuff, you guys know what I mean (and honestly, as a heterosexual male you shouldn't be wearing this shit anyway). Athleasure/streetwear is just normal fashion nowadays. If you listen to the dorks talking about casually wearing button downs and blazers, you'll look like a try hard most of the time. That's CEO-core. You're not a CEO. So basically what I'm saying is drop the skinny jeans. I seriously don't know why you faggots are so caught up on skinny jea-....... heh, nevermind.
