Thank you! Basically I'm still trying to decide between that or the Avenger Blackbird, I like the look of the Blackbird more but I like the functions of the Aerospace more - it's perfect for a daily watch with everything relevant without going into the insane Casio features territory. There's a Blackbird chrono too but the design is all over the place, I think it goes too far towards some weird edgy mall goth boomer combination.

I just bought the mako last year with normal band and bought the jubilee on etsy and had him but more bands in but the part where it attaches to the watch there is a little gap and i had to smash it with a fork to fit lol, pic related was inspo for a diver with a jubilee

At the end of the day, the Datejust design is timeless and transcends any size connotations. I'd wear it comfortably, I'd wear many 34mm and 35mm vintage seikos and love them

I would revamp the "Monster" collection, but have the bracelet and case made in 904L and make the movement 8L35. Bring back either the 2nd or 3rd gen. dial, put on a clear AR crystal, and upgrade the bracelet link pins to screws and you're all set. Ive been on the fence about getting a Grand Seiko spring drive as my daily watch for some time.

Im really concerned about the level of polish. Its just not going to blend in or be discreet. I currently have a SARX035 as my daily watch and just want a similar watch with a better movement.

Anyone wear a GS or similar type watch daily? Do you get too much attention with it?

Reviving classic styles is one thing but having modern output that has the cool and interesting would be cool. When you see some of the weird and wonderful things they used to pump out. You could look at a vintage heuer and knew what is was if you took the logo off half of their modern watches it could be a tissot or anything.

Id just bring back a design language and some of that cool dna.

My best friend bought me this for Christmas, what do you think? Is it a good watch? I'll wear it forever, regardless. Do you know how much it is? I looked on Oriental's website and they don't have a price listed because it's sold out. I hope it wasn't too much, their other watches seem spendy for our working class wallets.

You have loads of time to buy shit when your out and start making good money. That should use a simple flat crystal design. Make sure you have decent calipers to measure the diameter. You’ll easily find generics for $15 on Amazon with Prime shipping. Like the other anon said, you’ll need a good quality press to do the job. I’ve used the cheap eBay press, but it set the crystal at a slight angle. This is a cheap job for your local watchmaker. Also consider getting a new crystal gasket

The straps these come with are seriously fantastic with a big taper, the leather is supple but not too much and it's the perfect thickness. The dials look great too.
