Inferior is subjective. They're different for sure. Evolutionary psych has all sorts of reasons. Men hunt, so they can get autistic about a detail, because they had to wait in the grass to see something move in the distance. Women have to watch a bunch of kids, so they're good at multitasking. Evidence bares these things out- women can handle several tasks at once, but suck at concentrating on one thing. Men are the opposite. Another difference would be competitive drive. It's linked to testosterone, and the reasons for it are obvious. If you're the hunter, you need to be strong and mean. If you're someone the hunter takes care of, there's an evolutionary advantage to making yourself desirable and acceptable to those hunters.

Now, put us all together in a competitive capitalist mess where everyone is an individual who must fight in the marketplace or starve, and you see advantages and disadvantages, given the environment.
