this is to be expected though and not unique to them, every couple of years a new generation of these kids pops up and goes through the exact same process, before the current group it was r/malefashion posters who got praised for wearing the most outlandish and provocative shit they could think of regardless of how shitty it looked, they too have no sincere ideas or beliefs and because they got validation by other losers on the internet they have massive egos as well. tried telling them they looked like shit and you got the same ironic indifference "ahaha man fashions just a big joke who cares i'm blowing tens of thousands of dollars to dress like a male prostitute"

before that it was mostly sufu posters and /fa/ crossposters who went through the exact same thing , massive egos, dressed like shit, everything drowned in 10 layers of irony as a defense mechanism

it's ok though eventually they grow out of it and either stop caring about fashion or the handful of them that had a genuine interest in what they were doing reach a point where they can actually dress well and get jobs in industry or adjacent to. in the meantime they're nothing more than an occasionally annoying distraction

I'm not really that much into mainstream shit but a lot of the (meme) fashion pages are often pretty cringe zoomer admins pretending to be based while they actually lose their shit when someone just starts some banter. It is prety much just a constant cycle of posting about Virgil Abloh, Rick, Vlone, Chrome Hearts and trap like Playboy Carti + Frank Ocean. Essentially same shit from /fa/ but mixed with some effort posting and wojaks. In terms of pages I mostly know about fashioncringe(kinda funny),fuckhopsin(okay),cumdegarcons and meme saint laurent(fucking cringe, guy lost his shit when an old model dissed his shitty fit on a yt vid(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TmdYADBKko0)) and after the vid he was fucking salty about the whole thing). In general - cringe, but has its moments. Also all of the people that dabble in those accounts and shit seem to be very similar to themselves in terms of style etc.

But aren't agency people judging people based on their looks, facial aesthetics, height, physical things? I don't think they care about what the person applying for the modeling job is wearing because someone who has model qualities would look good to them regardless of what they're wearing, making them wear other clothes is literally the point of the job, they just want the person, the model. Plus this video says that she would be judging their attractiveness, not their outfits like she did, which is only a small part of someone's attractiveness. He dressed like a try-hard clown to me, bad fit, but by the comments you can clearly see that most people would rank his looks, his face, his height and hairstyle way above a 5. I personally don't see how he is a 9-10 like the thirsty e-girls are claiming, I think he's looksmaxing and not that attractive
