I carry picrel in the same configuration on a daily basis. I listen to music such as youtube related. I drive mostly at night and consume a fair amount of cocaine about once a month. I also have sex with a Korean MILF in my car a couple of times a week.

All of the above is true and I am aware I need to get my life under control. As part of my reformation I need a watch. What would you suggest?

I unironically like the look of the thing and I could pick one up (probably the reduced because wristlet) alongside say a Tudor and an Oris and still have more left over than if I bought a single Rolex. >During the first half of the 20th century, Tramelan was specialised in the production of movements and complete watches and around 1950 became the third pole of Swiss watch-making industry employing around 800 trained watch-makers in 150 factories. In those years, in the historic head office of Tramelan, the company Nicolet regulated and finished practically the whole production of Venus movements, whose components were assembled in different sophisticated calibres with excellent finishing: complete calendars, chronographs with “column wheel” including the 175 with split second pusher in the winding crown. During the 1950s Nicolet produced also the movement with the patented “Ajustor”, an ingenious mechanism, that when applied to the movement, allowed its regulation without having to open the watch.

*Any of the Italian rubber or fkm rubber straps on watch gecko will be good
You should probably just get the one from borealis, it's going to have 90% of the feel and performance of thw isofrane original it just is made out of a standard vulcanized rubber instead of the property formula isofrane uses. Also half the cost of the isofrane straps is that the buckles are hand finished and polished seems kind of unnecessary to me.

it's a little close to the bone but fine I guess.
if you can adjust the bracelet to get it left like a cm, that would look better but if not I seriously wouldn't worry about it.
there should be micro adjustment on the clasp if you weren't aware.

Yeah the seiko oem straps are probably okay, but the $5 aliexpress ones and the cheap ones on these watch strap sites are super tacky, they just end up covered with little specs of dust and lint everywhere.

“The two screws on top can tilt the bridge from side to side while the screw on the underside, together with the ruby ball, can tilt the bridge in the other direction, as well as raise or lower the bridge,” explains Mr Lass, adding “The screws act against each other and will lock the bridge in place after adjustment.”

Why wouldn't Casio just make a normal square G-Shock with a steel case + screw-down back, and without stupid modern shit like Bluetooth?
There are only two options: DW-5035D (anniversary edition) with all that gold shit on it, and GW-5000, which is Japan-only, and also has some unnecessary stuff (solar/radio) that drives the price up.

I agree on the case back. I also wish Casio would make their outer bezel from carbon fiber reinforced polymer, rather than resin. Their standard resin gets gunky in the humidity, brittle in the heat, and after a few years the lugs and hard corners start cracking. The best alternative is a stainless steel bezel, but a carbon fiber would be lighter and just as strong. Imagine having a G Shock with the classic steel case and a carbon fiber bezel, it would be indestructible
