I am more worried about the surgeon turning me down or it just not working like I hoped, he is the only guy I'm confident in for my specific case so if he says no or it doesn't work out I'm gonna want to rope myself.

If you're paying for it yourself I can't imagine he'd turn you down unless it was delayed due to another quarantine or you sperged so hard he questioned your sanity. As for the op, I guess there's always a risk, but if you've checked him out and are confident in him you just have to trust that. If he's fucking decent he won't charge extra to fix it if does fuck up. Maybe email him first or get a consultation to ask all your questions and see if he can reassure you.

I observed a plastic surgeon last summer and sat in on a few rhinoplasties, among other things. There’s really not much to be scared of if you are going to a reputable surgeon. Plastic surgeons do A LOT of rhinoplasties so they have had a ton of practice.

If you have any general questions about the consultation process or procedure, I may be able to answer them. But I can’t help with anything too specific to your case as I’m not a plastic surgeon.

I don’t get why this board is so opposed to plastic surgery. Probably because they’re autistic teenagers who lack empathy.

Plastic surgery can massively improve the quality of life of certain people who develop complexes about features they don’t like. There is literally nothing wrong with getting plastic surgery to reshape a nose, shave down a bump etc.

Other people getting a rhinoplasty doesn’t effect you in any way, so I really don’t understand the hate.

I know you're speaking of emotions but some people get their nose all fucked up through sports or accidents and need the bones to be moved about or shaved down so they can breathe properly again. Don't rhinoplasty's by default improve breathing because they often tend to straighten the nose?

Isn't there some overlap though? I know one person who's getting it because they can't breathe well out of one nostril but the injury that caused it left their nose weirdly flat and ironically the surgery might improve how it looks.
