People buy Hamilton because they have American heritage and design even if they are Swatch now. Their designs are different while still being relatively thoughtful although I have problems with half the catalog.
People buy Homos because it does the Bauhaus thing well, keeping things simple while offering some color and practicality. They also have a pretty high degree of finishing. Of course their design still leaves a bit to be desired like with the long lugs.

Quarzt/solar is nice, however eventually they will need some kind of repair, be it movement or just the battery replacement after many years of use, but in terms of longevity quartz is the superior option. Mechanical workse movements will be able to being repaired every time, but that requires maintentance and proper care and that requires some money.
So answering your question, quartz, it will be cheaper and will run for a long time, at least 10 years with no maintenance, have had a couple of casio shitters they ran for 8-10 years, and they only stopped because the batterie died.Analogic could have some problems in the long long run, digital it's almost guaranteed to function until it literally breaks by external causes, whater, shock or some shit.

You start with a reasonable observation (wrists below 6 inches are really small and make watches look too big ; people shorter than 1m65 look very stocky and most clothes are weird on them) but warps itself and becomes an exageration to the point that if you can't wear a Diesel watch, you have small wrists and if you're shorter than 1m85, you're too short to look good.
But I'm sure tis is just a wristlet manlet cope or something.

Their other watches are 48mm lug to lugh,if you can acept that size, they have a nice and diverse catalog and you can upgrade the models with stuff like premium movements and finishing.

Archimede is similar to sinn and cheaper, they have some smallish watches, check them too.

Excellent, I really like it. It has a Seagull movement, curved sapphire crystal and is a great homage to Richard Mille for like a 1/2000th of the price.

It is however pretty bulky as it's 48mm lug to lug and 12.5mm thick, the water resistance is meh at 30 meters and the rotor is kinda noisy, but not as noisy as a Miyota.

I got it for 120 euros from aliexpress when it was on discount and was one of the last in stock. The renewed stock costs like 180+ right now.

I definitely recommend it if you don't have chicken wrists and you like hideous rectangular skellies.

Most ultra thin movements forego a seconds hand to save a few mm. The trend of having a seconds hand on dress watches is relatively recent and one could argue misguided. It shared the same movement as the gmt master for years is that also a shit watch or is the 3186 only bad in watches you don't like. It looks like an" inbred mongrel " it looks likeball other rolex sports watches but with a white dial and plain bezel.

None now that I've realized that the semi-good looking ones have shit thickness. They're so close to making good watches but so far. Not to mention the ridiculously thin dainty lugs. There's almost no shaping to the case/lugs whatsoever. They should just make a modernized Heuer Bund that isn't autistically designed but actually looks like a proper modern classic watch, that's all I expected from the brand really and they failed.
