I don't believe Doug is a fascist, specifically. Fascism had a doctrine (or a manifesto if you want to view it that way). Because Fascism was a Modern movement, it was open and upfront about its calls for totalitarianism and authoritarianism. I think Douglas P. is something more of a nihilist reactionary who views fascist symbolism as the best means for some Post-Modern deconstruction. He'd never state too clearly his ideology and I think that's because, in part, he doesn't have one (at least not any coherent ideology). Death In June is a art project and a stand-in for an ideology.
