Am I a poser if I wear skate chinos without being a skater?

Pic related.

>> No.15674975

Yep. Also a poser if you wear basketball shorts but don't play. Or any kind of clean boots.. especially if you don't own a truck.

I'll take that as "no".

literally who cares about stoner trash. Everyone is a fucking poser these days, the idea of being a poser isn't valid in this day and age because all these styles are so generic and worn by everyone.

There's no such thing as skating chinos. The only thing that might come close is dickies and even that was originally used by regular ass workers. Skaters co-opted their culture from others and so I feel no shame wearing "their" clothes without having touched a board in my life.

Right, is like dressing as an ancient egyptian and latesha claiming it to be cultural appropriation of their people

>> No.15675538

Skater chinos are just normal chinos. Newsflash, it's the skater fags that adopted the chinos, it's not the other way around.

Skaters don’t even wear tan/cream/khaki colored pants cause of butt and knee sweat.

what makes these "skater" chinos and no different from regular chinos? chinos are from military origin of british colonialists who wore these tan pants in india and they were made in china iirc

the only hard rule there’s ever been about skating attire is no shorts. they legitimately wouldn’t feature shit if the dude’s shins showed. other than that the only debate today is skinny versus baggy and as any speed skater, wrestler, or triathlete will tell you, looser clothing does not necessarily mean better range of motion. for me it’s always been stretch skinnies since ‘05 and i’m like bruce lee in them hoes
